Defining Awesome

Tried making bump mapping on the map correctly today but it doesn’t look good.

First test of a parallax background.

Having some fun times with pixel shader filters. First one is a Sobel Edge Detector, second is rotoscoping effect, third is a normal with a mix of rotoscoping.

In a desperate attempt to fulfill his retro-needs, MM has created a 16 color shader.

There are 2 things I can’t do without pixel shaders: normal maps and unlit backgrounds. I’m working on that today.

Busy day today. Many fixes for character animator. For maps added ambient bloom and HDR lights.

Auto-updating is working good. I am moving towards more enjoyable beta tests where I’ll be getting feedback and fixing stuff immediately.

One of the cool things about the in-game Twitter feed is that I can show all tweets by LD devs or modders or all players in news section.
