GameMonkey is used now only for the autoconfig script files and console variables and scripting. I plan to replace it entirely with Angelcode script.

It is an embedded scrpting language (similar to Lua) MM uses to read map and weapon configs as well for GUI events …

I’m kind of in the same situation as Gnoblar. I’ll definitely buy LD if you get it on Steam, even as Alpha or Beta (with life-time free upgrades and special DLC/distinctions just for beta users ;).
