Can you wait a little with releasing a bot until you ahve some more fun weapons and objects to play with ? imagine sentry guns, shields, machineguns, grenades and maybe some mines ?

will the bot be for the RTS link dead or the DM linkdead Alpha ? DM for now but after that I'm moving straight onto testing the RTS concept. How long do you intend to write on soldat? As long as people play it and it brings profit. Will this new version allow you to see other online players? No I'm focusing on bots now. After that I will make dedicated server support and a master server for real internet play.

How long do you intend to write on soldat?
As long as:
a) people play it
b) all bugs are fixed
c) Soldat has modding capabilities that allow it to live on its own.

And about the open-source tales. Prolly the dream if off.

You should be able to add as many bots as you like to any of 2/4 teams!!

And please, make the bots look… good. Or at least better than now. I miss the concept art you once had of the different classes, they were well drawn. Make them detailed, not a bunch of pixels of random colors in the form of a soldier…
