I love Amon Amarth.. They are without a doubt my favorite band.
Their lyrics are great (And they make sense, unlike so many new upcoming bands)
Their songs are just so powerful.. The video was weird though..
Cry of the Blackbirds is my favorite song.

Ahh, very true. I thought you meant it directly - today’s modern warfare of artillery, car bombs, sniping and gunship air support makes killing people much less personal, if not at times similar to a video game. Oh here we go...

Good song…makes me wish I lived back then.
Medieval combat had so much honor compared to todays.
I am norweigan and german, I feel the need to battle quite often. I really believe superior combat brutality and sense of adventure are genetically inherent to certain racial groups.
I have been in dozens of streetfights and love it, that is the time I feel most alive. Maybe because it is in my DNA?
