It’s a 4 day weekend here in Poland but I’ve got stuff to do. The reaction to Link-Dead has been overwhelmingly positive and I’ve had a terrific time playing. There are some bugs however, 1 issue of server crashing and performance & compatibility issues which I’ll be working on in the next days.

Have you ever thought if bringing LD to iOS devices? That Gould totally rock!
The game is buggy as hell but apart from that, it’s quite fun once you get used to the gameplay. The Change Weapons/Action/Reload etc. menus are done really badly. They should appear in the center of the screen, not in the position of mouse (they are outside of the visible screen all the time). The Suicide option in the action menu is too easy to pick by accident. Also I really appreciate that you are trying to make the game as much realistic as possible, but there’s too many body parts. There should be just head, torso, arms, legs.
Btw LD on iOS devices would suck pretty bad.
What’s an iOS device?
rivon: what do you mean by buggy?
iOS devices are iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch. 2D games are really successful on mobile devices π
By buggy I mean that there are annoying bugs. The server disconnects on almost every end of game. After say 30mins of game the character just spawns without any weapons or equipment and you have to restart the game to correct it. And sometimes the character just started shaking and you had to at least reconnect to the server.
And once, I respawned and after a few seconds I respawned again and my character was in the game twice.
And another graphical/usability suggestion – you should make a proper main menu (not the one which spawns at the position of mouse – again, half of the time half of the menu is outside of the visible screen).
But apart from these, the game looks and plays really nice. Good job. Keep it up π
I’ve been working on those issues.

That’s called shell shock or post-war trauma :).
No no… I mean, it was like when a physics/ragdoll engine started to do weird things to the character. It just shaked in various directions etc.
