True
are you having fun with your game?
i hope so π
success
Man, I’ve been looking for the ability to have projectile chainsaws. This is the only thing missing in Soldat. I would love to be able to huck a chainsaw and cause ultimate dismemberment with it. π
Actually, Soldat is just fine as it is. Still the idea of airborne chainsaws is fuckin wicked.
Also, yes, it is very true. goreLand should be good if he finishes it. I’m so glad the 2d multiplayer platform genre is starting to pick up.
There is a 15/16 year old Canadian programmer who is making a 2d shooter called Badgame (for now). Very soldat-like, but with linear levels and one-way platforms. Him and his friends were having fun with some of the builds too. Just look up badgame shooter on youtube. The videos should still be there. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any word of further development for over a year. I hope the kid didn’t get discouraged and quit.
No way… Thats my game that I’ve been working on (slowly) for the last year and a half. And yes it is fun π Though that video is old
here’s you a comment
Monx: you’re reading my blog:). What’s going on, why aren’t you releasing a demo?
MM: There’s no demos of GoreLand because I’m still adding features to the game. It’s now probably one of the most complex flash games ever made.
I’ll email you a demo.
Here’s a new video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSD49xbPUWc
I wish I could get a demo. π I’m a flash person myself and love physics. I’m playing around with Box2DFlash at the moment (but haven’t gotten to making games yet – still a newb programmer). I tried the old version of GoreLand that you have on deviantart. Nice. I love the destructable terrain. It would be cool to see how you do your physics.
I was reading up on you on your sites. I’m glad you’re someone who knows that game design is hard work. Man, you have my respect for the work and cool things you are doing in Flash. I’m amazed that Flash can handle so much without slowdown.
Please keep up the good work.
Snow: Add me on MSN, I’m sure you can find my email. I’ll let you try out the demo.
From goreland you tube video:
>> GoreLand is a Flash game in development by Sam Clifton (me)
>> Release Date: When it’s done.
