Defining Awesome

There is a lot of bugs with split-screen, like 5 big bugs. It was a spontaneous decision to make s-s so the game wasn’t prepared for it. I have to move on to other stuff and return to fixing later.

    1. isnt it the biggest priority to get a TDM based game on the market? perhaps introducing some of yours ( or ours ) newly thought game elements ?

im looking forward to the next release.

and i dont prefer some idiot screaming next to me : “HES OVER THAR KILL HIM !!! ARH ARHARH HE SHOT ME AHRAHRHARHAR FFS FFS * throws controller on floor* FFS YOU SHOULDVE SHOT HIM.”

also, you can release a DM test without the splitscreen and after that release a path or update that add the ss thingie.

      success

      Ahaha you need more friends.

Considering how highly planned Link Dead apparently is, it makes sense that spontaneous features will suffer somewhat. It’ll definitely be worthwhile and awesome in the end, though.

At least where I live, I’ve noticed that Soldat only has a tenuous presence in the computer labs of educational facilities. Due to the lack of LAN capability due to gratuitous firewalls, and no split screen in Soldat, it usually ends up being the lone dude off in the corner who plays it, and even then only for a week or two. Games where more than one person can just jump in tend to do, from my experience, far better in terms of word-of-mouth advertising in computer-laden circumstances.
