    Update:
    – made parts of netcode 3 times faster, still it suffers from performance issues, gotta work more on it
    – tried running game without video driver initialized for dedicated server – works!
    – got tired of netcode and made game intro
    – experimented with dust procesor to make different explosions
    – bullet projectiles are awesome! what was I thinking with hitscan weapons?

      CAn you release some king of TODO list for the next release like you did before???


    4. yes, give us bouncy balls, whips, dice, whatever. for 2d to work as i’ve stated, you NEED physics based weapons (not hitscan). And probably slower moving shots unaffected by movement.

      Do you think most of the projectile speeds for the default weapon loadout will be a little more realistic than in Soldat? I don’t necessarily mean close-to-hitscan speed, I just mean 150-200% that of Soldat.


    6. as i hinted earlier you could make an awesome expolsion by lunching a few invisible bouncing balls that emit narrow smoke trials.

      Faster projectiles are more realistic but not necessarily more fun. Slow ones are funny at it will be more important.


    8. Exactly, we need slot moving projectiles to make it work and be fun.


    9. Or just have all normal-type bullets travel at Barrettlike speeds.


    10. The slower the projectiles the more lag will influence the game.
