    I’ve been thinking a long time about hiding in darkness. It’s a cool option but everyone has a different monitor and it’s very easy to cheat by adjusting the brightness on the monitor. I’ve thought of a solution which is to simply make the player more transparent in darkness. In pitch black he wouldn’t be drawn at all.

    3. Was thinking with the ‘hide in shadows’ option mebbe make it similar to the old game BlackThorne. In that game, Basically you just hit ‘up’ and the player would ‘duck’ up into the shadows against the flat of the wall. It was more of an option to block incoming fire or hide from patrolling enemies but combined with the FOW effect, Could prove useful.
