I had to write a lot of new code to manage lights as interactive map objects. It’s nearly done. I also did more improvements on the pie menus today.

This could turn into an awesome LD or Soldat map:

nice layout – but much more important: there’s water! MM, I put water on my “wish-list”! (for xmas 2011 :P)
It’s a bad layout for LD. Just long lines and rectangles (kind of) connected together. There’s place only for long-distance shooting. Would be Ubermen paradise.
Except if MMs could swim under water and UMs couldn’t.
Sick, can wait to see the interactive light.
My map is going well, Layout is done, most texturing too, im doing lighting today. If this comes out in the next few days il try to incoporate it in my map.
How do they work in the editor ?
fgg02:
Nice! Keep up!
Will you make editable blinking pattern at one point ?
That map looks interesting.
fgg02: they will be placed from the objects menu (were respawns and ladders are right now)
Will you make editable blinking pattern at one point ?
Exactly:)
Something that COULD be nice in the interface is a little slot over every inventory slot. You can click on it and assign a key so that you can easily select nade weapon etc…
This may be anti gameplay, lokking through your inventory should be a bit of a hassle.
Thinking about it, I dont like this idea anymore… Still throwing it out there maybe someone will make it better.
Hey MM check out this joystiq article . This guy is pretty much doing the same thing you are, you game can kick his game’s ass!
Well that game is completely different than LD. It seems like repeating whatever all the Soldat clones are doing.
Fairly unrelated.
Is there a console command for adding a bot on the alpha?
