As promised a video of the lights and fog effects. Starts with zoom-in with a blur shader for smoothing.

Haha, awesome :3
Even with the placeholder graphics, it looks good.
very neat
Hot.
looking forward to light fixtures with physics.
Looking very nice; i’m glad you could easily incorporate the shaders you toiled on for the first iteration of LD.
Looks GREAT! Can’t wait until the full release.
holy fuck yes
Looks nice.
I wonder how it will look like with everything in place
Hehe, it already looks like a totally different game . How bout a network test with that? 😛 And grenades 😛
just what the fuck is sigvatr doing atm???
Forget about the grenades! Bring the nukes.
Imagine a quiet, scary map with the light of lightnings from the sky flashing through the corridors of a castle, the thunder echoing all around, and you, human, all alone, have to face 5 other players, creatures of the darkness. You only have 30 MG-bullets and your fists, and the creatures attempt to melee you to the ground with their bare claws, one after the other, while you try to escape the castle alive.
*imagines some hot multiplayer mods*
Looks great ! Cant wait to see this game with nicer character…
Hope your still going for that darkness/flashlight gameplay. It could really work great with these lighting.
Anyway good work !
That was awesome, but were those red glowing things shields? And the fog is not there yet.
This brings back fond memories of “Out of This World” and “Flashback”.
I hope link-dead has more guns than Soldat.
I know i might be over commenting BUT! If you people like soldat, or games like it, you should check out Shadow Complex for xbox live arcade.
Personaly i think that it looks better than before. And great job with the shaders, i hope you can also implement glow shaders.
