Btw. in the Network Test http://ping.fm/eLYed when climbing you could move back and forth. I forgot to ask if anyone found that useful/fun?

It was fun. I could shoot through the walls like that ^^
Easily fixable bug, I’d say.
What I missed is that you couldn’t aim while climbing, other than actually climbing up and try to align the gun with where you wanted to shoot.
It’s fun, just needs improvement (ofcourse).
hell yah that was fun. I loved the climbing, it showed potental for free running servers.
Yeah, the more control you have during running/jumping/climbing, the more fun it is. But allow people to shoot while climbing, too. At least when standing still (during climb).

I suppose you want to aim during climbing? How is that possible, a man does not have 3 arms?
It depends on what kind of man are we talking about.
Though what I meant was that “the more control you have during running/jumping/climbing, the more fun it is” and to allow shooting “when standing still (during climb).” maybe with an accuracy penalty or only light arms or both.
I don’t know I have never tried shooting especially not from a ladder/while climbing.
While not moving back/forth (so while standing still during climb), he holds tight to the edge/whatever with one hand and inaccurately shoots using his other hand (maybe it should only work for one-hand weapons, like a small SMG or a gun?). 😉
This would also be a great opportunity to add some tactical choice:
While normally climbing, the player holds tight with both hands so he can’t be shot down from the ladder.
But while holding tight with only one hand (when shooting), he could easily be shot down from the ladder with a couple of bullets, thus having to think well if it’s worth it before shooting instead of climbing. What do you think?
You can aim while climbing. It might not as easy, but you could make a aim penalty then instead.
can you make it so that we can aim while standing still on a ladder?
