I updated the auto-updater to also update the EXE file. You will need to redownload the ld-tech test if you haven’t already http://ping.fm/dAT2K

I keep trying to get it running ;/ Should i just extract .rar to random folder and run LD.exe ? Is an updator build in ? My system is just like all around, it’s:

      WinXp pro sp3 32bit
      core2duo e5200
      4gigs ram 9600gt newest drivers
      sound blaster live

I have 2 windows installed and my root folder is WINDOWS.0 Mayby You dind’t customized adress to windows files and it is C:/Windows/~… ? Am i correct ? Can i edit that adress anywhere to windows.0 ?

    3. I had trouble running it under vista with multiple screen… turned one off and the game worked fine for me.

Maybe this can help some of you.

      I love whats there!
Although I had some visibility problem… The only time I would see right is when I pushed my mouse to the top of the screen and some sort of a shining effect took place.

Also I had trouble figuring where the walls where when using the FLASHLIGHT. I’m saying this from a pure gameplay point of view but the flashlight should at least higlight the hedge of the wall.

I wonder if i’m the only one with visibility problem !?

What I enjoyed the most was running around taking cover and shooting at unexisting enemy. When your not in danger for your life the plateforming mechanics work great!!! Cant wait to fight a human foe or later battle it RTS style with my team of bot.

Also, the graphics are quite good. The maps looks freaking nice with the flashlight on.

One more thing, dying happened way to often !
I recognize this was sort of a plateformer minigame within the engine, but the height to kill should be higher or the player should at least have a way to land alive.

    4. Hi Michal. I’ve found some bugs. First one is kind of like collision problem, gostek stick to the floor after jumping around brick. Second one is about shooting against wall/roof, and last one is something like infinite ammo. Just press reload button at that same moment as shoot button. 5. wesz: how did you record that video so smooth?

You have apparently broke something there. The first version works fine, this one crashes at birth.
      WinXP
      ATI Radeom X1950
      AMD Athlon 64X2
      2gb RAM

Also, would be nice to create some sort of bugtest thread or forum so that it would be convenient for you to read bugtest logs that are associated with stuff that can’t be sent to your twitter.

    8. MM: Fraps + 640×480 in game resolution:)

    9. Did you make the map creation process intentionally slower than the prev version?

Multiplayer is semi-functional and potentially fun.

    11. wesz: you probably have a good computer, what is it?

curious: no, if you start for the first time it must render the map it takes awhile.

Wow nice screenshot. I disabled multiplayer in the last minute cause climbing doesn’t seem to work well, but its probably playable.

      Any chance for linux release?

    13. Hi MM, remember me? http://mm.soldat.pl/development-log/738#comment-118324
How did you decided to do it?

    14. arthur: I use a windows trick to switch the file by renaming it. Google windows autoupdate trick or something.
