It’s underrated because it depends on your personality.
I’m doing the exact opposite because if I write down everything I tend to slack more because I have already saved my idea in a form so I tend to keep them in my head where they pester me until I try to do them (they are trying really hard but I’m a bit too good in suppressing them) also the fear that I might forget it is also a good motivation for me.
i don’t even think its underrated
This can be great in logic arguments too if the situation permits it. Nothing beats a nice logic tree to keep things on topic!
@Curious, I tend to do the exact same thing.. although I lack the skill and time necessary.
Luckily I only lack the skill 😛
I put my ideas in Google Docs. One of these ideas file has reached the size of a complete game design doc, without me aiming for that at all.
