Safe in your home, protected by laws and policemen you can talk about war all you wish. It’s abstract.
But the thing that wonders me is how would you react and what would your attitude be if you’d see a buddy of yours split in half by a mortar round in Iraq. Then again, I wonder what I’d do as well.

I have been in dozens of streetfights and love it, that is the time I feel most alive. Maybe because it is in my DNA?

Ahh, very true. I thought you meant it directly – today’s modern warfare of artillery, car bombs, sniping and gunship air support makes killing people much less personal, if not at times similar to a video game.
